Immaculate Conception is a faith
community rooted in Jesus Christ
and guided by the traditions, teachings, and practices of the Roman
Catholic
Church. Since 1907 we have been and continue to be an open, welcoming
and
vibrant gospel presence in Lafayette, continually strengthening the
faith of
the community and families through worship, education, and prayer. We
seek to be faithful stewards of God's love to others through
ministries that serve our community and impact upon human concerns
locally
and globally. We have been blessed with a rich diversity of people.
Thus we will
continue to work toward the unity of all segments of our parish so that
the
unique social and spiritual gifts of each segment can be both
recognized and
given for the good of the whole community. And in all this we continue
to be pilgrims on our journey of life
together, carrying out the work of Jesus Christ to which we have been
called.
