Fr. Bob Amundsen,  Pastor

     I've been pastor of Immaculate Conception since June of 2002.  I was born and grew up in Denver. I have a twin sister and an older sister.   I attended St. Thomas Seminary in Denver as an undergraduate and the Gregorian University in Rome for graduate studies in theology. I was ordained on December  19, 1969.

    My first assignment was at Presentation of Our Lady parish in west Denver (1970-1979);  I was then assigned as pastor at Christ the King parish in east Denver (1979-1990);  then I went to Blessed John XXIII parish in Fort Collins, working in university ministry at Colorado State University (1990-2002).    I have also served as Director of  Education for the Permanent Diaconate of the Archdiocese (1971-1980), clergy director for the National Marriage Encounter of Colorado (1972-1982), Archdiocesan Director of Campus Ministry (1994-1995) among many other activities.
